100 things about me

1. I speak to my hamsters in a French accent.
2. I know all the words to the first Iron Man film, including the foreign language bits, and tend to recite it.
3. I always dance to the scene in Matilda where she's using her powers at home. Always.
4. I can't help but sing to everything.
5. I move around a lot in my sleep. A LOT.
6. I haven't cut myself since January.
7. I'm an insomniac. Have been since 13.
8. I love horror films.
9. Despite being really different to each other, I get on really well with my little sister.
10. My nephew saved my life through his mere existence.
11. I met both of my best friends online.
12. When I was 13/14 I wanted to be Lois Lane. Sometimes I still want to be Lois Lane.
13. I went to DMU when I was 18 to study Chemistry. I liked the lab coat, but nothing else.
14. I'm a bit of a hoarder.
15. I can't bear to give books away.
16. I support Coventry City Football Club.
17. I love graffiti.
18. I have eight tattoos, at the moment.
19. I'm a little attracted to the Iron Man suit as well as Tony Stark.

26. I hate it when American words are used for things in this country. Like apartments instead of flats, and soccer instead of football.
27. I don't trust cats. They're up to something.
28. I am terrible with birthdays. I don't forget, I just tend not to do anything about it. Including my own.

30. My Grandad and I used to chat over cups of tea in the middle of the night cause neither of us slept much. It was always the best part of my school holidays.
31. I hate tomatoes but love tomato flavoured things.

34. When I was 10 I wanted to be Bart Simpson.
35. When I was 6 I ate rhubarb leaves (which are poisonous) and ended up in hospital with suspected meningitis.
36. I hated art right up until I did Art Therapy a couple of years ago.
37. I drink decaffeinated tea at home.
38. I went to an all Welsh school for two and a half years, but had to change to a 60/40 English/Welsh school cause some of the subjects were too hard in Welsh.
39. I go through phases with food. I will eat a lot of something for a while, (currently peanut butter), and then stop and not eat it for months and months.
40. I love the smell if burning.
41. I used to write most of my fanfiction at work.
42. I can't dye my hair without making myself look like I have a skin condition.
43. My right eye twitches when I'm really tired. Or randomly on occasion.
44. I can't read fanfic on a computer any more. I can only read it on my blackberry.
45. I used to be terrified of needles. I passed out during a blood test once, and had to be held down during a procedure on my toe.
46. I talk to my mum every few days.

48. There is never enough room in the 'family history' box on medical forms. I need a page with my family, not a box.
49. I didn't really do anything interesting until I was 19. I didn't do anything bad until I was 23.

58. My sister used to get me up in the night to get rid of moths and daddy-long-legs from our bedroom.

63. I have taught my little cousins and my nephew all to say 'D'oh' at the tops of their voices when they were little. I will do the same with my niece.
64. I prefer the Harry Potter films. I'm not that fussed about either though.
65. Janeway is my favourite Captain. She made my teenage years a little more bearable.
66. When I was a kid I used to wait by the window to watch for my dad to come home from the pub until my nan told me he wasn't coming home. I stopped doing that about 11 or 12.
67. My dad bought me a tv for my birthday this year. It was so much bigger than the portable one I was using I had headaches every time I watched anything until I got used to it.
68. I love Nintendo, but don't play games that much.

71. I used to drink way too much diet coke. I still drink it, but have to limit myself, cause it doesn't help with the insomnia.
72. I love my niece and nephew more than anything else in this world.
73. I like to swim, a lot, I just don't really go cause I'm unmotivated. Once I'm in the water I'm deliriously happy though. My dad said he threw me in a swimming pool when I was three and I already knew how to swim. I suspect this is a lie.
74. I never take baths.

76. My favourite Disney film is Aladdin.
77. I used to have a whippet that could catch flies, then would give them to Jay, who would put them in her shirt pocket to freak my mum out on wash day when she emptied the pockets.
78. I could complete the SNES Aladdin game in under 40 minutes. My record was 38.45. It's how I spent my Sundays.
79. I successfully convinced my teachers I had to do my homework in front of the TV because I couldn't concentrate on it else.
80. I never wait the full four hours before I take more painkillers. But I only really take them for three days a month.
81. I can't donate blood for another five years because I have a transfusion. Which is annoying cause I would like to.
82. I can't read books about mental health or self harm because I find them too intense.

86. I got my job at the Co-Op by the default.
87. I worked at a warehouse for six weeks and ended up in the accident book four times. Once I nearly knocked myself out.
88. I have a black scar on my knee from when I fell off my knee.

90. I like pepperoni and mushrooms on my pizza and don't usually have anything different.

92. I have three external hard drives, Westie, Bully and The Bug.
93. I once didn't talk to my dad for three years.

95. My sister is three years younger than me, but considers herself the older sibling.
96. I have the same type of hair as my grandmother, and her eyes.
97. I can't seem to get the hang of smoking. Not that I want to start, but when I've tried, I've not been very good at it.
98. I shoudn't be allowed to have candles. I play with the wax and get it everywhere.

100. When I was born, my mum briefly toyed with the idea of calling me Blossom because of how beautiful the tree blossom looked that day but in the end stuck with Rhian.
